Upcoming events
*Atomic HairRaiser Dance Party - @ Arbor Brewing Co. Tap Room
- Thursday July 3rd from 9pm-1am
- " A dance party fundraiser for Atomic to be able to finish renovations to 613 N. main"
- The title HairRaiser means all attendees are encouraged to come with crazy, extravagant
hair.
- Autumn agreed to talk with hair studios in the area to try and secure a gift certificate for
the winner of "Best Hair".
- Dustin said he'll try and get the DJ from the Bang
- Dan Blades will also play.
- Brian Woz. will be contacted as well.
- $5 cover
- Cash Bar (best beer in town), Free Mohawks, Best hair contest, Dance Music,
- ABC is waiving the rental fee but there is still a $60 charge for the bartender.
- Who is interested in creating a flyer? Contact Adam
- Press release needs to be out in less than a week.
*Organizing an Art Exhibit @ the Common Cup (1511 Washtenaw)
- Email was sent to Wendy the manager inquiring on availability. (waiting for response)
- lauren will go to check the place out.
*Shadow Art Fair flair
- Atomic is officially accepted.
- Shadow Art Fair Date July 19th, noon-midnight (set up 11am, take down 12pm)
- Interested members must notify us of intent by the end of the month. A list of proposed
works form each artist is due by June 11th.
- Participation fee $30 due by June 15th ( Atomic will pay this) is free for members
- Our table is 6' and we'll have wall space behind us. We can get creative with maximizing
our display.
- A 175x 50 pixel graphic is need for the Shadow Art Fair vender page on their website by
June 15th.
- sign up to man the table if your able to.
- Grant proposal is almost complete.
*Music events
-July 26th (SAH, Hornet and Idol and the Whip)
-$5
-Doors @ 6pm
-Music 7pm-10pm+

*Member packets
- See PDF attachment
- Please fill out the Member Application (even if your already a member) and bring it to the
next meeting.
- Please include when your dues are paid up till (unless we've discussed it already).
*Website
- Website is moving along thanks to langel.
- Members need to register.
- Once dues are received and the next dates are inserted into your member file then you'll
be able to upload artwork to the gallery.
*Building Updates
- A meeting with the landlord is in the works for this week.
- Matt from Modati is looking into securing a real stage.
- Work days will be scheduled @ Mondays meeting.
- Does anyone have white paint to Donate as primer or ceiling paint?
- We should being booking music shows asap to gain revenue.
- Modati is sending the back due rent owed to the landlord.
- Ideas are need for the Merch/giftshop room.
- Vote on colors for upstairs is needed.
*Promo card distribution.
- Please distribute them as much as you can.
- Can anyone hit up the art school on North campus?
- If you need more cards come to the next meeting or arrange pick up from Adam.

*Scheduling days for ArtsTalk (an informal Open discussion series on the
arts, artists, creativity, how we each fit in the picture of it all and how we
picture it.
- Discuss Monday 6-8
*Recruiting new artists.
- Artists know artists, please encourage those creative folks you know to join.
- Post blogs, bulletins, hand out promo cards, send emails, call, etc.... Were all in this
together.
* Vice President candidate
- Jennifer Simon is interested in filling the position. visit her @

- A tentative date for the vote is Monday 6-8
- She is an Eastern Michigan sculpture student and Vice President of their Intermedia Gallery
